Compete on a Budget

As a coach, I know the frustrations of the costs of competing. I remember when I did my first show in 2000, I didn't spend much. The NPC card was $35, the suit was $50, tanning was $24 we had to paint on ourselves, make-up artists weren't at shows, bling wasn't super important either. You could wear your hair any way you wanted really. Fast forward to today, competitors are spending up in the thousands just for ONE show. Unbelievable to me STILL. I just can't wrap my head around it. So I will give you some pointers for prepping on a budget. I bet I can ease your mind. With a little practice, YOU MIGHT just be a little more motivated!
